After two weeks of exam chaos, the fog has lifted, and I'm back to focusing on what truly matters—building my brand! For a moment, I felt a bit lost, like, "Okay, exams are done…now what?" But then I remembered, wait, I’ve got a whole brand to create from scratch! So, here’s what’s up and what’s coming.

First off, I finalized a brand name (cue the drumroll for the next blog where I’ll reveal it). It’s all falling into place, and now I’m diving deep into branding ideas. My next big challenge? Building a catalogue that speaks to the audience I want—hot, stylish people, obviously! I’m torn between sticking to my original plan of a capsule collection or expanding a bit to offer more variety. We’ll see how that goes.
I’ve already decided that fluidity will remain my core inspiration. I’m thinking of crafting a one-of-a-kind cap that embodies the feel of water. Since I can’t literally make water wearable (as much as I wish), I’ll be bringing that movement and vibe into the design.
On top of that, here’s what’s still on the agenda:
Packaging (I want it to reflect the brand’s identity and aesthetic)
Website content (need to figure out what kind of vibe to set there)
Learning pattern making for jeans and lowers—because you know, gotta master that craft!
Researching shop acts and trademarking (the not-so-glam but super important stuff).
Oh, and I need to finish my fashion course—I’ve done 9 minutes of a 372-minute lesson…so yeah, long way to go.
As a little bonus, I had some friends over last weekend who brought some life lessons and creative inspiration with them. Funny how life works sometimes.
So, that’s all for now, but I’m so ready to kick things into gear again. Thanks for sticking with me through the exam slump!
